This position ensures gardens and landscaping beds at the Cedar Hills Community Center are monitored and maintained—up to 10 hours a week during the growing season--March through November each year. This position will support the Events/Golf staff.
This position will monitor and maintain minimum established standards in the gardens and landscaping beds. They will also help create and update maintenance checklists for each landscaped area at the golf course to measure tree and plant health trends, adequate mulching, and weed elimination. They may also help participate with planting projects, seasonal displays and procurement tasks. This position will also perform other related duties as assigned, including assisting the Parks staff.

--Aptitude for written and verbal communication, so maintenance trends can be properly documented
This position requires the physical ability to dig and pull-out a variety of weeds, properly plant and mulch perennials.
Starting range begins at $16.00/hour depending on experience and/or educational background.
There is schedule flexibility based on coordination with the Events Manager on necessary tasks, weather, available equipment, etc. Anticipated schedule would be a minimum of two days per week to ensure that needed objectives can be met.
