Perry City is accepting applications for a Full-Time Lead Operator/Manager to operate and maintain the Perry-Willard Wastewater Treatment Plant. Duties will include maintaining compliance with the rules and regulations of the State of Utah. This position is also responsible for supervising all employees who work in the maintenance of the Perry-Willard Wastewater Treatment Plant. Perry City is the employer for this position. However, the employee will report directly to the Perry-Willard Wastewater Treatment Advisory Board.
Qualified candidates must have an associate’s degree, technical training in wastewater treatment, or equivalent experience. Must have a Wastewater Treatment Grade III Certification from the Utah State Division of Water Quality or obtain certification within 9 months of their hire date. Must have effective communication skills and the ability to use computers and technology efficiently. Must have an active commercial driver’s license, and the ability to proficiently operate equipment.
